Company History

Nissin Brake Ohio (NBO) was established in October 1988. Our parent company Nissin Kogyo Co. Ltd. is headquartered in Japan and has many other locations throughout the world. Nissin Brake Ohio's initial capital providers were Nissin Kogyo and American Honda Motor. Our business focuses on automotive and non-automotive brake system development and manufacturing.

Our original name, Findlex Corporation, was changed to Nissin Brake Ohio, Inc. in April 2004.  The name change was a strategic decision to give the Nissin brand more exposure in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The name change makes our products and our company clearly recognizable and promotes our reputation as a world-class brake manufacturer.
